How to Install madplay software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

madplay software package provides MPEG audio player in fixed point, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install madplay

madplay is installed in your system.

Make ensure the madplay package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep madplay *

You will get with madplay package name, version, architecture and description in a table
